Source files matter

AI or CDR vector artwork is preferred because shapes, colors and size can be adjusted without losing edge quality. True vector EPS, SVG or PDF files may also be useful.

Raster resolution must exist at final size

A raster logo should generally be at least 300 DPI at the final reproduction size. Increasing a low-resolution web image after the fact does not recreate missing detail.

Artwork fast lane

AI and CDR vector files are preferred. High-resolution raster art should be at least 300 DPI at final reproduction size. File extension alone does not determine whether artwork is actually production ready.

Approvals protect the production job

The approved artwork/proof version should be clearly identified and retained so later uploads do not silently replace what production was authorized to use.

Detailed intake improves the quote

Garment, quantity, size breakdown, locations, colors, art and deadline all belong in the first request whenever possible.

Reorders should be simpler

Once an account has approved artwork and order history, the next order should reuse those known specifications instead of starting from an empty form.

What to include with your quote

  • Quantity and size breakdown
  • Garment style/color
  • Decoration location(s)
  • Artwork file
  • Required date and delivery method
